I just received a 7610 for christmas but it was on vodafone Live! How do I remove all of the images and other garbage that vodafone preload onto my phone, do I need to get if flashed?

Yes, you'll need to get it flashed (which you'd probably want to do anyway), just make sure they don't flash it with the Vodafone version of the firmware (if they have access to it).

Is it possible for me to buy the cable myself and download the firmware? If not where can I get it flashed and how much would it cost roughly?

Get it flashed at a Nokia Service Centre, and if your phone is in warranty (which it is bound to be as it is brand new), it is free.
Flashing it yourself is VERY expensive, and very risky.
How do I find out where my local Nokia Service Center is? I live in the United Kingdom and can't find it on nokia.co.uk :frown:
Yeah, Nokia's website sucks for finding any info. Start here http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,,54548,00.html and either give them a call or an email.
I emailed them an got a totally useless reply :con? If I ask in my local Carphone Warehouse will they be able to help me locate my local centre?
