Hello everyone, first of all ill introduce my self.. i am from Australia and my background is lebanese and i recently got my self a Nokia N-Gage (Not QD the old one)

I am trying to find a way to format the memory of my phone to factory memory
i have tried *#7370# but that only restores the factory settings, it doesnt format the device memory

so is there any other code for this or any other way i can format the device memory?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thankyou

[Green]+[def3]+[*+] during a power on performs a hard format : this will return the phone like you have received; make sure to have full battery charged !

The procedure you mentioned doesn't work on the N-Gage,just on Series 60 2.0 devices.*#7370# formats phone memory only, you will have to format the MMC manually.

Im sorry guys i was mistaken..... *#7370# is the right code i was looking for... thanks for that anyway... i was looking at formating the actual phone memory not the MMC

thanks

The procedure has no effect on Symbian 6.1 Series 60 1.x devices.
