I plonked the 6630 onto the video stand and expected when I selected the camera that i would see a picture from the video stand rather then the phone.... but allas, I can only see my wall... the phone is definately on the stand and there is a funny icon on the phone to show it is connected...just cant seem to get the stand to do anything. Does it only enable when you have a video call on ? or is this vodafone stopping us having fun again ?

Has anyone bought the video stand not on vodafone? wanna know if this is somthing they are restricting...

Are you guys really surprised?

Actually yes you would thikn the base would override the phones cameras letting you make gimpy little home movies or use it as a webcam.

Ah gotta save something for the 6640 I guess.

I have noticed that the stand only works when its connected to the charger
if you try to connect it to the phone directly it wont work its strange
i do not know if its normal or there is some settings i have to do to get it working with out connecting it to charger

Yup :/ I think it powers off the charger. Makes it idea for a Desktop stand this the only use mine seems to get.
