Reinstall Symbian OS on my phone

I don't know about that one but it is possible to Format your phone and have it reset to factory defaults.

I downloaded a program called system tools and it will do it for you. Otherwise, I beleive that there are key combinations you can enter. Sorry I don't know those.

For the 3600, 3650, 3620, 3660 the reformatting is done by typing/dialling #*7370# when the phone is in standby state (i.e., where you'd normally dial a phone number). Do it only with your battery full or the phone on AC. You will be asked for your phone's lock code, which by default is 12345 (also stated in the User's Guide).

After formatting, the phone is, more or less, in the same state it was in, when it left the factory where it was made. All your data (contacts, messages, pictures, etc.) will be gone, as will any settings you have changed, etc.

The SIM card or the MMC memory card won't be affected.

Do you happen to know the code for formatting the MMC?

There is no such code. Use the "Memory" app (hit "Options" and select the obvious choice).

yes, the phone will be the same when u bought it.

When you gotta filemanager, you see different drives on your phone. One of them is displayed as a chip. On this chip is all the "restore information". When you press *#7370# the phone will be formatted & the new "symbian OS" will be copied from that chip.
