Hi all,
Is it really true, that you can't change the default zoom on which the excel opens documents. I mean. I do nice settings on my file save it, close excel open it and it's back in the ugly format I started with. Huge text, no freeze pane etc.
😮
Same here, bit stupid indeed (I don't think there is a way to change it) but since you can just click Chr + Arrow down key 2 or 3 times it's not such a big deal too me...
Ah nice tip 😊
There should be a "9500 made easy" and especially written by actual ppl.
The things I more miss are the freeze pane, the pre-set widht of a cell etc.
I use excel a lot and especially different kind of "forms"/ tables, where I try to
adapt the way it is, so that as much as possible can fit into the screen.

There is problem when we open the excel from 9500 in PC. how come Nokia not counter on this matter. I know after service pack 2, every time you want to open excel that sent from 9500 will said corrupted file. some one please explain and please direct me to the better explanation link (other than above), probably
It's actually quitte simple. In Service Pack 2, Microsoft included some "security meassures" and files coming from a 9500 are not accepted by XP/Office because of this meassures. The only solution untill now is to install OpenOffice.org because this office suite handles the 9500 files brilliantly (and OpenOffice is free!!).
However, a firmware upgrade is scheduled by Nokia, so maybe it's fixed in the new firmware.
Yea the Word and Excel problems with SP2 is fixed in version 4.50 Someone has just had their phone done and they open without any problems.
I hope they fix the problem with the IF function i talked about in another post.
(just to remember - if you open a Excel sheet the cells with the IF function appear on the 9500 with the value 0)

Hurray, good news! One of the core features not working was a bad thing for the 9500's image...
Hi everyone.
The excel sheets i use need this function to work properly, ( COUNT IF).
The problem is, i don't see it on the default menu of the Nokia's sheet.
Is it possible an upgrade?
How can i solve this problem?
Thanxs for your help....

If they put the IF function to work it would be very nice, so if IF doesn't work don't except too much on COUNT IF.
