hi everybody, i'm italian (and sorry 4 my english....) and i'm now on this forum
i've a very big problem with my nokia n-gage.
yesterday evening the phone works good, without any problems and i shout down the phone and i put its to reload (ricaricare) the battery.
this morning, when i turn on the phone, this message display

I have a rs-mmc SanDisk 128mb that never give me problems...I try to put in the mmc 32mb nokia original, and the phone turn on, but when i press any key, its gave me a "System Error"
i finally try to turn on the phone without any mmc, an it works good....:S
my firmware version is
V 4.03
26-11-2003
NEM-4
why all that??? can someone help me?? what we advise (consigliare) me to do?

try formatting ur 32mb memory card with ur ngage..
Just check if you have installed the MULTIMEDIA Card or the SD Card.
These two are entirely different cards and with N-GAGE only the MULTIMEDIA CARD works.
The SD CARD is incompatible with Ngage.
Also try formatting the card if nothing else works out.
Hope your problem is sorted out.

the sd card is incompatible with ngage cuz it doesnt FIT in the ngage
so ther is no chance he has been using an sd card..
and how the hell is he supposed to format the card with his ngage when the ngage wont boot up with any cards inserted?? :P
For some serious advice, i'd like to add:
try inserting your mmc in a digital Camera, and format it there! If you have one that is.. if not, format it in your PC if you can! 😊
Although i suppose theres something wrong with your ngage since it wont even work with your original card in it! Perhaps the card is not correctly fit? something broken inside your ngagE?

i facing this problem too regularly...hehehe 😃
here some tips:
-try on ngage several times..
-if doesnt work..try remove the the MMC for a several minutes before try on it again..
-when you can enter your phone...quickly format your phone using pc first...
-if cannot format using pc...delete the data manually and after that format again...
using pc
-finally..format using ngage..make sure your battery is full....

i also have a very big prob....i exchage my ngage for a week with my girlfriend...she use motrola E398....this phone is suck..very2 suck and i meant it!!so hard to silent this phone when i'm having lecture ...and i miss my ngage...!!!! :frown: :frown: :frown:
fratta,accendi l'ngage senza mmc,ed inseriscila solo quando il qd � acceso correttamente.
dopodich� formatta la scheda e prova a riaccendere successivamente con la mmc inserita.
