other than q9, is there any other s/w which enables the phone to read/write in chinese?

I don't think so (not unless Panasonic releases a Chinese language firmware version). In other words Q9 is all there is, as far as I know.

yes, X700 has Traditional Chinese version. I bought mine in Hong Kong.

Can anybody tell me how to change the setting to be able to type and read chinese in X700?
What is q9?
I am very bothered by not being able to read chinese....... :frown:
