slow and laggy response

Hi,

My Nokia 7610 has a slow and laggy response. When I open a message or contact, I took quite a while (about 1-2 sec) before I can view the SMS. What can I do about this?

it is like that, series60 phones are generally slower than other phones

You can try updating the firmware at your NSC. The latest firmware is supposed to improve 7610 responsiveness. Also clean out inbox/contacts by deleting useless stuff. Moving app. icons into folders rather than leaving them in main menu will also speed up menu opening.

But 1-2 sec is not that laggy. On my old 6610, it took quite a few seconds to open an SMS. Other things were quick but some other things were also slow. Try using some other phones like SE, Moto, it will take even longer.
