I've got the oppertunity to buy a Concord Eye Q Ir Camera (the ones shipped with the 9210 once)

Anyone got an idea how much I should give for it in ? 😊 Thx!

I've got one - the pictures are poor quality - the thing was a major disappointment. I'd save up a few more pennies (or cents) and buy a better quality standalone digital camera. The only "clever" feature of the Concord camera was the IR link to the 9210, but that was as basic as you can get. IMO the thing's a pile of crap and I wouldn't recommend anybody parting with money for it.

Most digital cameras take compact flash or equivalent so you can get the storage capacity you need at low cost anyway.

Thx ... fuck ... dilema ... 😊 I saw the pics and they seemed OK, not the best quality ... I don't need a good camera, I'm just jealous with the 7650 crowd 😉))) + I'm having a difficult time finding a Camera with IR.
Thx for your advice all ... If he asks more then half the price 50 then I won't buy it, seems it is not worthy 😊

Hi all,
I bought a new Digital camera (without IR) and if someone is interested i'd like to sell my EyeQ.
Before you buy it i'd like to tell you few things :
1) image quality is below the average of any low budget stand-alone camera
2) white balance is not reliable and if you are using the built-in flash you have to stay at least 5 meter away from the subject or the image will be over-exposed
3) best images can be taken only in open spaces with a good natural iilumination
4) light sensitivity is very poor
5) battery life is very long
6) IR is great to send instant images via the 9210 (for example when you are in holidays instead of sending postcards or if you work for an insurance company and want to send immediately the images of a damage to the office)
7) you can put an additional MMC card inside the camera for more storage space or download them to the 9210 and erase the camera memory

Bye,

I have to say that my experience of the Concord Eye Q and its picture quality is entirely different, it produces excellent picture in low light (interior office) situations, the colour saturation and image is good in outdoor applications. Remembering that it is only a 0.3Mpixel camera not a budget 1Mp camera.

I would agree with the comments about the flash but as you hardly ever need to use it.

Take a look at the images in this review ... http://www.foxpop.ndirect.co.uk/SMU/eyeq.htm

Don't know what the UK price is but c2ocity in Singapore sell them new for about $100 US (60 pounds?)

I own Concord EyeCam and I buy it because the "7650 fever". Why buy a 7650 if you have a 9210 with EyeCam? I think that is a better combination!
In the first day the quality disapointed me, but in the pass of the days it disapeared. I think that it is a good choice attending that it is a low resolution camera. But it is good to transport and you can take it all the places. In Portugal the price is about 270€ but is hard to find it.
Now I`m waiting for P800. Then maybe I sell my EyeCam.
