Hello,
Does anyone know how to remove files on the N9500 ROM drive (z:drive)?
It seems my browser try to find a web page on the z-drive, which is not valid anymore (operator has installed their own settings ont the ROM drive).

Easiest solution is to change the home page on your browser to a page you place on the C: drive. I normally use a page with links to sites I visit most often, saves pressing menu and selecting from your favourites.

Unfortunately, you cant do that. Your totally unable to browse the file system using the web browser that came with the phone.
Let me know how you browsed to that drive if you manage to do it.
Go to settings in web, and the first option in front of you is your homepage. Takes a couple of seconds to browse your C: drive and set the home page to one you've copied into say MyFiles.
You can also open a local file by going Menu->File->Open->File... Dead easy.

Yes, you can do that to browse C:, but not Z:.
Even if you try setting it to Z: or Z:\Documents you just get a blank page

I never mentioned anything about accessing the Z: drive. BTW you can use Menu->File->Open->Web Page... to open files on the Z: drive by prefixing with file://z:

Unfortunately you cant
Yes you can, I've done it before and probably won't again.

Well, your gonna feel real dumb after reading this. Try going to the H drive if you want, or the A, L, Y..... What ever you put in there you will get a page saying your in a drive with that letter
But there aren't drives with those names, so you can't open those. I've only tried putting in things that exist.
Try file://localhost/Z:system/Backup.xml I think you'll be surprised 😉

I guess you missed one /.
Yes, this should work. Otherwise get yourself Powerfile from Symbianware, then you definitely have access to Z!
Cheers upponalle, well spotted.

Press the menu key, go to Tools, then Settings (alternatively you can press ctrl-k to get there). Then change the option for homepage address.
