IrDA Problem

I've transferred several things from my laptop to the 9500 without problems. I have the same firmware (we all do at the moment). So not sure what the problem is or can be

r u transfering a large size file? in my case and my cousin's, the size is more than 500 kb, and from 10 attempts, it failed about 8-9 times. will it be because of the filesize?

The files I tried were small. I usually transfer bigger files by BT or using a cardreader

Have you made sure that your IR speed is set to 115.2kbps on the laptop?

I had the same problem, It works with all IrDs except my build in IrD in the laptop
an ideas?

i have bt, and card reader, its just when u travel, u wouldnt bring all of your gadgets with u. it just happen when i travel and i need to transfer some documents to read on the way, and it just would do.. so...

i will try that, since i found my laptop's settings is on 4 mbps. thanks.

i have made the speed to 115.2 kbps, still the same proble, it even restarts when i try to connect the phone to the laptop. i havent even transfer anything to the phone yet
