Sorry if this question was addressed (I checked about all the threads), I'm using a Bluetooth pc adapter paired with my 6260, and I could transfer files from my computer to my phone, but I can't upload content from my phone to my pc. Can anybody give me advice on this? Btw I can't use Nokia PC Suite either, I'm on Win98 SE
Thanks alot!
Have you tried sending files from phone to PC using 3rd party app like FExplorer or SeleQ?

i have problems if i pair the device and authorise it on the phone. I use a dongle. I find that if i dont pair it and let it ask for a security code every operation it works... also as i recall if you download the version of pc-suite for the nokia 7200 there's a windows version rather than the later one which requires after 98... i think its around version 5.5...
however, you cant use sync, only file transfer/phone browser...
i had to play this game moving my content from a 7200 to my 6260, did it at work fighting with a crappy old laptop.. in the end i gave up and used xp...
also on my old laptop i have managed to make the 6260 speak IR to the lap top, if you are quick you can open the my Networks, and send / recieve files using the MS network transfer wizards.. however if you dont keep the ir active by doing stuff... it drops.
Get the Nokia PC Suite 6.4.8 from what Nokia 6260 web provided. Aslo you need to download the BT driver for XP/2k/98/95 provided by Nokia.
1) Inside Nokia (Connection/BT), you need to authorised your PC BT name.
2) PC BT pair is optional, depend ur setting.
3) For upload/download from phone to PC, you can go Windows Explorer (Of coz this is after install Nokia PC Suite), Nokia Phone Browser.
4) Nokia Sync is ONLY for your email. Not for transfer file. For transfer file, you need to use your BT Transfer file option (This may different with every manufacturer bundled software)
5) Nokia BT transfer rate is poor, mine only 13.3kbps. (I prefer use SD reader doin transfer big file, faster) My HP PDA 1940 can reach 700kbps.
