So when do we get 9300i & 9500i fucking hate nokia for releaseing new models so fast after original product release!!

Any rumours on it yet??

No rumours yet.

If you hate Nokia for a fast evolution of their phones than that's your problem. 🙄 Besides, you're not obliged to buy a Nokia

You'll find that all mobile companies do it to increase turnover. For the most part the phones are the same and the shell is different, maybe one has bluetooth and another doesn't. It's just all about making money.

As for "i" models seeing as they've not been announced you are looking at at least a year for them. Although I fail to see the point in an "i" model for either phone unless it's just something pointless like a 1mpixel camera on the 9500. Lets face it the 9210i wasn't really enough of an upgrade to rush out and buy it.

You could argue similarly why do <insert car manufacturer here> facelift the models so frequently so that before I've paid off the finance on mine it's out of date.

9300 is not even in the shops yet. There is stilll some hope that the 9300 comes with an updated firmware compared to the 9500 (at least there are some rumours that there will be a firmware update within the next 2 weeks for the 9500).
The big 3GSM trade show is mid February and usally is a good place to announce high end terminals (9500 was announced last year). So maybe you wait until February 14th to be on the safe side.
I personally expect that Nokia will launch some 3G terminal at 3GSM and might present a new addition to the 9000 series at the traditional June event or at the Nokia conference in late autumn. Among the 40 phones announced for this year, there could / should be one or two more communicators.
If you are not happy with Nokia's realease policy, there are plenty of options for Symbian phones beside Nokia, but if you want to have a communicatior you have to stick with Nokia so far.

In the next month we will have a 9300 released and later the 7710. The next major upgrade of the Communicator I think will be a 3G version (9600?) and I heard a prototype has already been developed. Camera phones have already accelerated replacement cycles amongst mobile/cell phone users and phone companies are now looking for other features to boost device replacement such as video & music downloads, which require 3G or Edge. Personally I can't wait for the 9500 replacement as I suspect it will not just have 3G but also a touch screen, which will enhance its current usability (and this will be more like the legendary Psions).
