hope this info helps:

Username = Full email address
Outgoing = mail.o2.co.uk
Incoming = mail.o2.co.uk
Email Type = POP3

It depends on who your email provider is. I'm with ntlworld ( UK based ) and so my settings for incoming state that the server is ntl but outgoing messages have to be smtp.o2.co.uk so the settings are slightly different.

I think it also depends on the type of access point you use to retreive your email, I use basic WAP, so its a dial up number as opposed to GPRS connection.

Having said that, when I first got the phone, it was working fine, but now it won't even connect at all, no idea whats wrong with the damn thing.....

thanks guys i now have it sorted.

a little phone call to o2 sorted it.

i say a little it was half an hour and then the guy said we will leave it there because it is costing you 50p a min!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!!!
