Just upgraded my desktop PC to Win XP Pro and discovered I can't sync calender, tel list.....etc with my 9210. Is there a work around?
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thx

What sysnc software are you using??
I'm running Nokia PC Suite V1.02 (off CD in package) and I'm able to sync perfectly on Toshiba running XP Pro.

Try the new pc suite, sync and connecting works twice as good now (at least for me)
I ran into this problem last night and spent over 2hours with Nokia CS. After that time they informed me that PC Suite does not support XPand that I should try a machine with Win98 or Win2000. Since both of my machines have XP that was not a real solution for me. So off searching the forums and what I read ( I think it was here) was that someone removed SP1 and the synching worked. And I can attest to that, I removed SP1 and now PC Suite (v1.51) and my 9290 synch flawlessly. I don't know what M$ is doing with this service pak but I hae to be able to synch with Outlook.
Installing the new PC Suite would have worked 2 ;p
Sorry folks, I just re-read the post and checked the link and realized two things: 1) Olaf was speaking about a 9210 and the version in Dazler's link is much later than that on the US site for the 9290. Even though Nokia specificallymentioned to me that they would probably not support XP in the 9290 PC Suite, maybe they will change their mind since you all are having such success with XP and v1.7. Do you think there would be a difference in the two PC Suites (9210 and 9290)?
No 😊 this version works for all 92XXx 😊 It was posted as a 9210i thing and works fine with my 9210 so 99.99% chance it works with yours 2 😉
Even though NokiaUSA just told me that they do not recommend using 9210i software on the 9290 I am going to try it anyway. It's nothing a good backup won't solve if it fails😊 Thanks Dazler.
