After hearing lots of realease and shipping delays about Expansys, I wanted to know how safe and honest is buying from expansys, judging from your own experience, what do ya all think?
P.S: I live in the middle east, are the estimated shipping days exact? Or shall i expect three days extra?
I have bought several items from Expansys over the last few months. So far, they have been excellent. They have always shipped the same day when shown in stock and ordered before the deadline (1500 I think). Also, there is somebody on the end of the phone to talk to and you can place the order over the phone as well.
I can't comment from experience on shipment times outside the UK. Thoughts are:
1) Due to paperwork requirements, they may not achieve same day shipment for overseas clients.
2) They are only as good as the delivery performance of the courier they use.
3) Clearance into some Middle East countries (based on my own export experience) can be subject to delays outside the suppliers control and difficult to predict.
I live in South Africa and has used them before. I only had one problem with them. One time I ordered something that said in stock, but when I queried why I have not received the shipping notification, I was told that they were out of stock and it would be 21 days.
Other than that one time, I had no problems.
I've bought from them a few times and have been really cool. Better than some PC places I could mention :P
