Help! How to get Netfront or Doris to work??? 3660... — Nokia 3650, 3660, and 3620

Help me...

I signed up for GPRS connection in India.

I setup all the options in Tools==>Settings==>Connection==>Access Point as said by mobile operator. I didn't change the Tools==>Settings==>Connection==>GPRS as they didn't say anything.

From SERVICES, I am able to visit all wap sites. But, Netfront and Doris Browser aren't working!!! 😞 [Opera 6.2 doesnt even load on my 3660!]

Is there anything more to be configured for them to work? HELP!!!

(1) In opera, go to advanced settings and put the proxy server address as
the same thing in the Gateway IP Address in Settings->Connection and port number as per your operator.
(2) You have to have atleat 2300 kB free RAM to start Opera - you can restart your phone and go straight and open Opera starightway - it should load.
(3) I have never used NEtfront as it never worked. My 14 day trial with Opera had finished, so I cant use it anymore.I'd recommend you to use Opera.

I tried that but, I still could manage only 2100kbmem free and opera wouldnt open.

So, it looks like doris and netfront are my only options. but, doris doesnt seem to have any settings option for connection. Netfront doesnt work! Help...

Do you have the latest version of Opera (version 6.20) - this is the most memory efficient version. Can�t really understand why Opera wont run on your phone. It does on other 3660s I�ve tried.

If you get it running it might be a good idea to disable javascript and maybe also pictures. That should get you a bit further when surfing.

How much memory does Opera 6.2 need? I am not sure if i have 6.1 or 6.2, but it is surely NOT 6.0...

Hello,
I have a Nokia 7610 with 6K+ of free memory. The default WEB browser works fine. But Opera or Netfront just refuses to work. When i typw a address and press go.. The 'G' comes.. then [G] comes , then it says 'contacting server..' then nothing happens. Please help.

Hello! I just managed to get my Opera and Netfront working 😊 u just have to pur proxy settings correctly!
