Cant put operator logo

7 replies · 3,957 views · Started 03 January 2005

I have tried several programs, but after restarting I never got the operator logo.

I have also tried to put the file in C:/System/Apps/phone/oplogo and used the image with the name 214_1_1.bmp (my operator is 21401). This also did not work.

The phone is a 6260.

Any one faced the same problems? How can I put the op logo on my phone?

Thank you

Best regards

I face the same problem. On my friend's 6260 phone worked as XXX_X_X.mbm.
I tried that without any lucky. Any ideas?

Thanks

Try with FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com). Select the (image) file and from the FExplorer options menu select the option to set the file as an operator logo.

If that doesn't work, perhaps you have operator specific firmware where changing the operator logo has been deliberately disabled on the operator's request.

Yes, by deleting the file from c:\System\Apps\Phone\oplogo (or all files, if you're not sure which one), and then restarting the phone. After that you'll see the operator name only.

(Assuming it isn't a phone where the phone is in ROM fixed to use a specific operator logo by the operator.)
