On my a92x I could direct my browser to files by entering i.e. "file:\d:/" to show the root of d:
Does anyone know to do this with the A1000 (Opera browser)?

I've been hunting around for this myself - some experimentation with Opera (on the PC) and the A1000 shows I can
a) You can browse a file directly via a URL like
file://C:/documents/media files/image/Wallpaper/puff dragon.jpg
and that doesn't appear to be case sensitive. Opera will expand this to "file://localhost/C:/..."
b) You can't browse directories - Dropping "puff dragon.jpg" from the above URL just brings up "Address type not supported". I suspect this is 3's doing, as Opera is certainly capable of browsing directories.
But I'm hoping I can upload some reference documentation that's hyperlinked HTML documents to a directory and they'll all just work - but that's an experiment for tonight.
