Keypad Locked

Hey,

I just bought a fairly new A920 from ebay. As soon as i take out the phone, i insert my simcard, and everything is fine. I look at some features, blah blah blah, then lock the keypad normally (using game B button and the return) then take it to my room.

Seconds later i take out my phone from the leather case and attempt to take another look at some stuff on the phone. My handset is locked, and i cannot unlock it using the password thingo. I've tried everything. I've tried both 1234 and 0000. And anything else i could think of, take out the battery, change sim, no sim at all. Nothing.

What do i DO??? Can i Flash it myself without unlocking the keypad somehow?

:frown:

Nash.

By the way, i contacted the seller, and he also has no idea why its doing that. And wouldnt know what the keypadlock number is.

normally , as far as I know , it asks for a unlock only when u activate the lock.
And during your playing , it might have been possible that you activated the lock somewhere and gave some password. This is the same password that you will require to unlock the phone again.
It is also possible that u just activated it , but did not give any password , in that case just try clicking the unlock button and then done button.
If this also does not work , ask the seller if he had a old unlock password , which he might have disabled later, but still did use a password some time before.
I hope this thing helps you in some way. And I wish you All The Best in this.
