Has anyone got the PTT function to work on UK vodafone yet?
im not entirely sure what this service is aimed at yet, is it some kind of "walkie talkie" type affair, with an instant messenger style interface (ie you can see who's available to talk to) ?
if so, i must be missing something, it uses GPRS access points, so surely it would work out cheaper to just phone someone. :con?
is this the most useless service since the "go to" screen? 🙄
PTT is very useful if you have friends/contacts who also have it as here in Australia Telstra are charging 1c per second for actual talk time only or $50 per month for unlimited PTT. It basically keeps a connection open and you talk like a CB. At $50 per month it is cheaper than making calls.

Anyone can explain me what is this PTT feature about? For what it is and if I have to pay any charge for using it.
