Help with Operator Logo!

8 replies · 2,973 views · Started 04 January 2005

Hi!

Has anybody installed an operator logo successfully?
The procedure from the Nokia 6600 does not work (either via FExplorer, or manually).

Please help.

That's strange. I used FExplorer 1.11, and also tried it to install it manually to the directory. I used a BMP file and also a JPG file, which was converted to BMP by FExplorer.

What firmware do you have? I have 2.39.15.

I just found out that it works with a different network.
Network 05 shows the logo, but I use network 10.

I looks like that the filename can not handle network codes above 09.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial about op logos and how to change them? I'd like to know what type of files and what sizes can be used as logos....

Thanks
UA

That doesn't sound right - my network's code is 234 33, and that works fine on my Sendo X. The 6630 *should* work in the same way.

Orange UK's 2G network is 234-33. Orange UK 3G will be a 234 prefix, but may be a different suffix. If you download something like CellTrack or miniGPS, then it will be able to tell you the network ID.
