Hi,
i bought my new sendo x just yesterday, and i have problems with the synchronization with Outlook 2003 contacts (other synchronizations are not important for me) with USB cable.
The system give me the Ox80020009 error.
I have also installed Activesync to synchronize my Ipaq, i have tried to unload activesync, but the system give me the same problem.
Have anyone some idea about the solution?
Thanks anyway

Have you installed the latest PC Connect & drivers from http://www.sendo.com/smartphones/downloads.asp
Ensure that when uninstalling and installing the software you deactivate any firewalls

I am also experiencing problems when synchronizing with Outlook 2003.
I have installed Sendo PC Connect version 0.9.0.37.
This is the latest version available on Sendo's website.
When I connect my Sendo X to my USB port, it is correctly detected - so no problems there.
However, when I try to synch my calendar and my contacts, I get an error:
"Outlook
Failed to open Outlook"
The final synch report says:
"The Contacts synchronisation failed. The error returned was 0x1."
I believe that Sendo PC Connect does not support Outlook 2003.
The only versions I see listed in PC Programs are: Outlook 97/98/2000/2002
No 2003!
Is there a special version of PC Connect that I am not aware of?
It strikes me that this issue is occuring within Outlook and not within PCConnect.
When I sync with Outlook 2003, Outlook pops up a warning message, asking me if I want to allow PCConnect to talk to Outlook's database, and then asking how long I want to allow it access for.
If you're not asked this, then it sounds like a security setting in Outlook is blocking PCConnect from talking to it. As I turn off most of the security in Outlook all the time, I can't remember which particular setting it is which affects this behaviour.
Yip, from microsoft site it seems that at best we can hope for a security message on screen each time we synchronise
This message appears if a program tries to access your Address Book. In general, you cannot prevent this caution from appearing. However, check with your synchronization software vendor to see if recent updates to the vendor's software include interacting with Outlook in a trusted manner. This message is not displayed when Outlook interacts with trusted synchronization software.
