I've got SP2 and widcomm bluetooth dongle. I can send and recieve fileson both sides, but it has a problem with establishing a serial port and mRouter cant see my phone and therefore i can't use Pc suite or desktop fileman. I've tried everything, did everything the guides on the internet suggest. I'm really pissed off. Help please.
Help with Bluetooth-PC Suite please
Mine use to work 100%, recently reinstalled on another hard drive and still all worked well, installed some updates and microsoft decided its own drivers were needed, had a few problems BUT STILL WORKED well. I completed fecked the PC up using partition magic and had to do yet another fresh reinstall (DONE TODAY SO ALL THE SAME UPDATES AS YESTERDAY WHEN IT DID WORK) and knock me down with a kipper but it just wont work.
Does anyone know how to get rid of these shiitty microsoft drivers so i can go back to the good old days.
1. Have a look back over the last few pages of post, this topic comes up every few days, as I was one of the people having problems.
2. Try turning off the LAN firewall, dont know if it helps but mine worked after i did this.
3. Keep trying to get a serial port connection. I kept getting some connection error, but eventually it sudenly worked. It seemed to work after i right clicked on it and chose status instead of connect.
Sorted - not 100% sure how but think it was to do with another app that was completely screwing my pc up.
