Sounds good right? Wrong. I had an SX-1 McLaren Limited Edition. What they sent back was a regular SX-1. I'm here in the United States so the McLaren version is unsupported.
This all took over a month because they are having lots of problems with the SX-1. In fact, they told me they do not repair them. They send out a new one. Not good news in my opinion.
The problems with mine were I did a software update (with a FULL battery) and the phone went dead. No errors happened as far as I could tell during the update. I do not know what happened but the phone would not boot up anymore. And prior to this I was already having major problems with the speaker. It stopped working entirely before the phone went dead.
I love the SX-1 and I have been setting up my new one. But I am worried about the reliability. I treated my McLaren SX-1 like gold, never, ever dropped it or did anything wrong. And it still broke. How long will this one last?
Siemens was unable to get me a new SX-1 McLaren (or unwilling here in the US). Overall I'm still miffed, but we'll see how my new SX-1 does and how long it lasts.
I need to change my signature on this forum. *cry* No more McLaren SX-1 for me. 😡
