How can I read/tranfer the Sms who are on my Sendo x (By usb) on my PC.
Sendo support says "buy a sim reader".
Which one ? Are there any freeware sim reader program?
Is it not a way to send the sms by IR with FExplorer ?
Thank you for any ideas

i dont know if the x can send its sms to a pc just like that
there r two progs that can do that though
1. desktop manager v1.1>> two parts to the prog, one is installed on ur pc and one on the x. with it u can write sms on ur pc and send it from there (thru ur x) , also u can store the inbox of ur x on ur pc(the prog synchronizes the 2)
2.messagestorer v.1>>> u can convert ur normal sms into a note document and send it to ur pc via bt/infrared(dont know if it works with usb too, dont think it does)

tip> if u do a search in google for ahmmmm not so legal sis progs then u will find somethin for free😉

Thanks for (all) advice.
- Messagestorer v.1 works almost as I need.
- About "desktop manager" there are too many programs with this name. What's the company or any other way to find it.
More thanks...

Unfortunately desktopmessage seems working with Nokia but not with Sendo X.
Is it a system for making works Nokia apps on Sendo ?

desktopmessage works on my x(german 60c). in "about" it does say "for sep800, nokia 7650 &3650 but it DEFINETLY works on my x

You'll find that most software thats compatible with the 7650 will work on the X

The problem is that when I trie to install the .sis application with Sendo PC connect, I've a message saying
"UIQ20ProductID" is not install. Install it and try again"
So I eve can istall the .sis

What this UIQ... ?

Its a different version of Symbian. You need to download a Symbian 60 version since the Sendo X uses Symbian 6

And I replace the System on my Sendo ?
which is X1.56.2.2. Realease LG 20 aug 2004.
It's not old...

I don't need to change the firmware on your X to install an application, you need to make sure you've downloaded a Series 60 (1.2) version of DesktopMessage.

A version made of UIQ will not work, since UIQ and Series 60 are not compatible (although they're both based on Symbian OS.

Here's the URL for a version which WILL work on your phone: http://mobileways.de/M/1/1/3/
