I have updated my firmware to version 15, which was originally 14. It worked very well after that for several days. then suddenly when I was trying to back up the phone memory to the card a message appeared saying " Memory Card system error", then, I tried to backup thephone using the PC suite, also, an error message appeared saying that C(phone memory)failure. In addition to these faults when I access the application "JAVA Ctrl" an error " App. closed MidpUi", which preventing any installation of any Java applicatio. Please tell me as soon as possible waht to do to fix this problem.

I think I might lose some application and system files such as MidpUi which stoppped JAVA Ctrl application. How can I retrieve my system anf builtin application files?

Dear,

Try to reset phone to factory setting:turn off phone and press these 3 keys :
power & * and # keys to power on phone.after resetting to factory setting reinstall FW15.

(By resetting to factory setting you lose everything you installed before!)

Goodluck.

Dear Sir

I have a little more inquiry, before this dramatical problem that occured to my phone each Java applicationton (xxxx.jar) has each specific icon on the desktop. But after this problem and formatting the phone, every thing works very well but all Java applications have the same Icon (computer Icon) but the applications work very good. While these Java apllications have their true icons in the JAVA Ctrl menu. But, all the Symbian applications (xxxx.sis) work very good and each has it own icon, that is, there are no problems at all with xxxx.sis applications.
Does any one has a solution to retrieve Java application icons to their original ones?
