Need an mp4 player for the 6630

Hey people can anyone reccommend me a decent mp4 player for the 6630. Maybe a divx/avi one at the same one would be good too 😊.

THanks!

Yep, Smartmovie is the don for playing Xvid/Divx files. And with the fast CPU in the 6630 I get a full 30fps with full screen 208x176 192kb/s Xvid files 😊

Hey

I uploaded 6 different MP4 files and the phone wont show me any Video but i can hear sound. I installed the smartmovie codec and still it wont show a thing, any ideas?

The Realplayer that comes with the phone can play MP4 files natively.

Hey

I finaly figured it out, Ok a MP4 file from a Sony Ericsson P900 works on the 6630, a MP4 file converted from any PC file format, (for the particular example from WMV) to a MP4 for P800/P900 does not work on 6630, i converted the same file to 3GP and it works. Wierd, BTW if anyone needs a converter find mpegable X4 Live, its amazing.

Please help in obtaining the registration code for Smart Movie converter.

What smartmovie version do you use? I have a brand new 6630 with the latest firmware. If I install the old smartmovie it will play the clips but will crash and return to menu if I try to move the time slider.

If I use the newest smartmovie with the codec off the lonley cat website it will not even play a converted file. It just returns me to the nokia application menu. HELP!?!

All you need is a credit card (preferrably your own, or one whose owner permits you to use it).

You might also remind yourself of the forum rules. Please, start reading from the part that begins like this: "Illegal software (i.e. warez) is not allowed in any form in these forums."

How can i create a mp4 from any file on my pc? Is there a movie creation guide for the 6630 when it comes to mp4?

your software already cracked so just enter any 5 digits as registration code and its done

So I sorted it out. I have found that my new computer dislikes smartmovie and it's a bit laggy after conversion. Instead install smartmovie on your handset and use "stoik video converter" to convert your movies on your PC. Make sure you set video size to 208 x 1__ (it will auto set up after you type in 208) and choose 'mp3' audio codec and 'xVid' video codec..

NO NEED TO REDUCE SOUND OR VIDEO QUALITY!

Also, even at this ridiculous quality, you need to turn the 'audio preroll' lag compensatioin off in smartmovie on your 6630. The 6630 is so high spec that there is no lag whatsoever!

Find it provides a MUCH clearer conversion than the smartmovie converter! Like watching TV on your phone!
