I'm getting fed up with having to turn on IR and stick the phone behind my laptop where the IR port is and I am considering getting a bluetooth device/interface so i can conenct my phone without having to position it every time.
What devices do you ppl recommend/have?
I am planning on using the bluetooth device with my 7650 along with a toshiba satellite 1800 model.
Looking on some1s 7650 site i saw a key or bluetooth key, it looks like a plug u put in the usb port and has a little antenna is this the sort of thing i need?

I have been using MSI's Bluetooth USB Transceiver key. I am using it on Windows XP pro with no problem using PC Suite. I heard some ppl have had problems with it while i have been using it quite happily. I can recommend you this and the price is relatively cheaper.
Have the same thing, used to have problems but now I managed to overcome it with mazadevo's help! There was a registry fix! Happy ever after!
I also use MSI Bluetooth with WindowXP. It's seem that many people having problem with it.
MSI bluetooth transcieving key i am using. Face problem with it no have I b4.
It's rather stable with Win XP Pro and Win2K Pro. Have not try it with Win2K advance Server yet.
i bought a cheap non-branded one off ebay which worked fine and i've had no problems with it - came with XTND Blue Manager. transfers files no problem.
I bought mine on ebay, Mitsumi USB BlueTooth Wireless Dongle.
This guy sells lots of them, they usually cost ~25-30$.

What firmaware is your 7650 running on? 3.12 or 3.16? Can't get mine to work with PC Suite. I have 3.12 and using XP
