That banner is often refered to as LOGO. U can use fexplore a freeware program to select a logo then use it as ur phones logo. Search this site for some free logos and fexplore as well. Installing fexplore is a different issue though u can manually change the logo (still using fexplore) as discussed in many threads in this forum. Just not sure if a conflict in changing logos applies to your operators configuration as sometimes the operator has built it in so that you wont be able to change it.
