Max video size that can be played

Hi All,

What's the largest size file I can play? I've tried playing a 125 mb file (a film) but the player tells me it's too large. Ideas?

Have you resized the movie so that it is the resolution of the phone's screen? It hasn't got the processing power to resize on the fly (obviously) so you need to use a tool like the Nokia Multimedia Converter.

No, I haven't. It plays fine on my SE P900 in flip closed mode which is a similar size screen to the X. Do you think I should resize?

Yes, that error is to do with the resolution of the video, not the actual file size on the disk. The P900 has a bigger screen, so maybe that could cope with it OK.
