Warning. Do NOT try to use your P900 as a chock to prevent the rear wheels of your 18 tonne race tranporter moving. It doesn't work.
So the choice was a P910i or a Nokia 9500...
...Series 80 forum here I come.

Ouch nasty. Makes me dropping a 3650 out a window seem tame by comparison.

I have had the 9500 for over a week and I can honestly say, thank goodness vodafone has a 14 day return option.
I am expecting my P910 on Tuesday.
Girls? I'M BACK

You obviously didn't read the manual for the device before hand ...
Aaaaah. relief.
My P910i has arrived. After ten days of missed calls, no vibrating, dropped connections and no T9, vodafone collected the (IMO) dreadful Nokia 9500 and delivered the P910i.
Amazingly, it comes without my favourite SMS tone - suspense. Fortunately SE provide it on their website. Phewwww.
Good to be home.
Now, I wonder if anyone manufactures a protective case
