Freedom keyboard - anyone like to write a driver?

I know it sounds mad, but I'd like to use the freedom keyboard with my 9500 - the keyboard on that is fine for most things, but I reckon I could actually leave my laptop behind a lot of the time if I could use the freedom keyboard.

The drivers for series 60 and uiq will actually install to the 9500, but then they don't work - the difference is just too great. Freedom's technical people in the UK say they have no idea of anyone working on one at present

Anyone clever enough? - I wouldn't know where to start 😮

Might be a good idea to drop the request in the developer section. Are the S60/UIQ drivers open source? If so then it'll mean anyone porting them would have a much easier life and may be more inclined to do it.

Thanks for the suggestion - I don't know about open source, but could post the support email address to find out if someone was willing to have a go.
