6630 not reporting memory usage correctly

When I go into the menu, then press Options > Memory details, and have a look at either the phone or card memory, the used space, empty space and space taken up by images, mp3s etc is shown OK, but for both phone and card the memory used by applications is always shown as 0 Bytes...

Is this normal behaviour? A software bug?

Obviously it should not be showing 0 Bytes, even if there were no user-installed apps on the phone, there are still the ones that come with the handset on the phone and card.

How can I get it to show the space taken up by apps?

Not the ones that came on the memory card.

And besides, I've got about 10MB worth of extra apps installed on the card and a few more utilities on the phone.

Still the phone shows 0 Bytes.

Is this the same for everyone else?

this is what I get:

Phone Memory

7384 kB Mem. in use
2544 kB Free memory
22 kB Calendar
101 kB Contacts
351 B Documents
587 kB Images
0 B Sound files
0 B Video clips
0 B Messages
10 kB Applications

Memory card

34 MB Mem. in use
27 MB Free memory
0 B Calendar
0 B Contacts
0 B Documents
6993 kB Images
56 kB Sound files
1858 kB Video clips
64 kB Messages
68 kB Applications

I think "Applications" means runtime memory used by applications, not application files. I have much more than 10+68=78KB of application files!!!
