People's Problems with 9210

After having one between 1-2 months and discovering loads of problems with it, they've now gone away or I have found somple workarounds. User posted image

Eg, my problem with the PC Suite app that I thought may mean I'd have to lump for a firmware upgrade, was solved by removing all related files from my PC and re-installing. Then in future making sure I never disconnect my phone without shutting down my PC first (silly I know, but it works, the problem hasn't re-occured).

Unfortunately there are some I can't fix such as the delayed beep, but it seems the longer I have the thing the more stable it becomes. The only time I need to reboot now is when I take screenshots of my skins User posted image

Anyway I was wondering after all the recent posts outlining bugs, has anyone else managed solve their problems after a little work, or given up at the first hurdle?

BTW - Rafe, hopefully this post may generate some useful info for the Userguide User posted image

would agree after a good few months of using the 9210 it has become more or less stable. Adding third party software creates many more problems and upgrades to the firmware compound this. What is sad is the level of support provided by Nokia which is woeful. Sites such as this have proved to be immensly valuable (many thanks!) I had many many problems with the supplied Nokia memory card but since upgrade to 64mb card, phone has worked a treat - I suspect the supplied mem cards must have had a fault. What is needed is a better more comprehensive explanation of the sync software and how this dovetails with Outlook.

I was thinking I was having a similar problem with the MMC, thinking that something was up as half the time I copied something to it my phone crashed, but now it's dissapeared as fast as the problem occured. Very strange indeed.
