Help Psiloc's World Traveller

I paid for my registration and got a 15 digit code instead of the required 20 digits.
I tried to use the key but unfortunately it won't work. It keeps telling me I'm using the incorrect license key.
Anybody here who could help? I already tried uninstalling and re-installing with version 1.40 to no avail 😞

Any inputs would be welcome and please attention to psiloc's customer service please assist. I've sent emails but have received no replies at all.

Have you tried to contact customer suppert at Psiloc? If they sent you a wrong registration code, they should fix it.
Does the application work? I was testing the Series 60 version and the weather update did not work. Is this now fixed in the Series 80 version?

The program worked before but I can't get to try it anymore since it is now expired and will only continue to work when it accepts the license key.
Yes i tried contacting them but received no reply. Am thinking if I don't get a reply in another day I guess I'll just have call my credit card company and have the transaction cancelled.

Hi,

I had a similar problem to you when I bought the program a few days before X'mas. I sent them an email and they replied a few days later with the 20 character code. Unfortunately this still didn't work. After awhile I couldn't update the program as it said that my free period had expired.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but still wouldn't work. I emailed the company a few times and after New Years I received the reply. Apparently, as part of the registration process, the program sends out a SMS to their registration server but for some reason the sms sent from my 9500 was unsuccessful.

The final email I received instructed me to uninstall the "common registration" module and they emailed me a new copy of this so I could install. Also gave me a new registration number so everything works great now.

Give them a chance to reply. They're abit slow but it was the holiday season and they did solve my problem.

I'm glad to say that they sent me the 20 digit code today and I was able to register it in and it's seems to be working now. But I have another question though , dunno if this is normal or not but after updating for example the currency it seems I can't update it again even after half a day now , is this normal? Have you tried updating yours after you made an update after say 5-6hrs later?
I remember I was able to before during the trial period.

I had the same thing. I went so far as reformatting my Commie back to factory default and reinstalling everything again! Still couldn't solve it that way. So I had to contact Psiloc.

I believe the problem is that you (like I did too) have tried to update either currency or weather too many times and ran into the "free trial period has expired" message. I suspect again its because the SMS that should've been sent by your Commie to their registration server has failed. This happened even after I entered the 20 digit key and the program was technically registered.

You have to contact Psiloc and inform them of what has happened, that the 20 digit key works but you are unable to update. Include your IMEI number and IMSI. Worth your while to include all previous emails with them. We exchanged 13 emails before my problem was solved.

You may eventually get the same message I had appear on my screen:

"No response from Common Registration Server - please contact the
[email][email protected][/email] to solve this problem. Please include your IMEI
(XXXXXXXXXXXXX) and IMSI (XXXXXXXXXXXXX) numbers."

They will ask you to uninstall the "Common Licenser" component from the Application Manager and install a new copy which they will email to you as well as a new code.

After that, all should work fine.

Another problem I noticed with my ( as im not sure if its only my case ) copy of World Traveller , the World map doesn't show the moving daylight and night time zone correctly in my case its pretty advance as if the day has just started the daylight time zone its showing is already very advance almost already going to night time, anyone notice this problem in your copy?
