Works not in a 6630, have a look at this PDF File -> "operating voltage: 2.7-3.6 Volts"
Hey,
Are you sure it isn't DV? Seen this on that page :
Αντάπτορας για χρήση σε SD/MMC θύρα
Κατανάλωση ενέργειας (Standby mode): 75A
Κατανάλωση ενέργειας: Read <20 mA / Write <25 mA
Πιστοποιήσεις: FCC part 15, VCCI, CE
Τάση Λειτουργίας: 1.8V - 3.6V
It says it Dual Voltage which 6630 needs so it looks like thats the one, I just cannot read the page :con?

Hehehe - tried to order it, stumbled thru a few greek pages but then got totally lost 😊
Anyone read greek?
I dont think its worth ordering one
Check out the manufacturers website, the HS-MMC(which is essentially what a dual voltage MMC will be) says coming soon, then check out their press releases. Iv emailed them trying to find out a time they will be released
Not all companies keep their websites bang up to date though.
The page on the Greek store seems pretty positive that it's a dual-voltage card. Now all we need is a guinea pig to order one 😉
Oh, and check the part number quoted on the Greek page:
"Κωδικός Κατασκευαστή: AF512DVRM"
Note the "DV". Can't be anything but a dual-voltage card going by that. Someone please order one 😊
go to the site and look in your IE bar Says
"ATP Dual Voltage Redused Size MultiMedia Card DV-RS-MMC 512MB 105,85 euros"
We may be onto a winner if they actually have stock - I am willing to be a guinea pig but can not navigate past the first 2 pages of the order form 😞
Anyone greek here?
I just phoned up ATP UK and their distributor.
The product code on that Greek page is indeed for the dual-voltage version of the card.
I'm still waiting for the distributor to phone back with stock details, but ATP UK said they're not expecting anything until at least a month from now.
I'll get in touch with my Greek mate and get him to place an order for me if they have any in stock.
Strange, that site also claims to sell 1Gb standard RS-MMC. I dont know anyone that has manufactured a RS-MMC more than 512Mb
I just spoke to ATP UK and they said they expect the dual voltage RS-MMC's some time this quarter but be more accurate than that
he also said they havent yet created a DV-MMC in development that is 512Mb so the highest they will go up to is 256Mb
He told me he would speak to the people in tawain where they are manufactured and also try to speak to the greak website Play247
Yeah I most probably spoke to the same bloke as you, was told sometime this quarter but not before at least a month from now.
Our best bet is phoning up ATP Taiwan when they're open, as that's where the cards are developed and made.
The AF512DVRM product code is valid though, so they definitely have a 512MB card planned if not already available.
Heres another spin on the story, apparently ALL the dv-rs-mmc cards have memory chips in them made by samsung.
It's samsung holding up the chain as there has been a problem in manafacturing the memory and they have not sent ANY to the manafacturers as yet.
So no matter if it's ATP - PRETEC - MOBY - or samsung themselves - there simply is NO memory to go into these cards... yet
😞

oh no... 🙄
Well theres always http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/3862.htm
So where on that page does it say Dual Voltage??
If you actually look for memory card compatable with the 6630 you will see only the nokia 64mb card

Not a very good photoshopper either 😉
The 512 is way to sharp in comparison with the dv-rs-mmc 😉

I dident but if you look its exactly the same card, picture as the one posted at the begining of the thread. You could always email mobilefun and get them to test the card in the phone.
ATP have been manufacturing normal 3.3V RS-MMC cards for a while now.
Let me enlighten you...
That seller is somehow good, adequately cheap and innovative...
The 512 DV-RS-MMC card says:
Availability: Expected
If you look at the help page "expected" means some in the near or distant future 🙄
How do I know all this? Trust me I'm Greek.
Cheers 😎
P.S. Since I am here would anyone mind telling me if you've found some way to add SPP (Serial Port Profile) to the 6630 bluetooth.. If you consider me off topic, never mind :hello:
