Screen protectors & cases

I am to want screen protector. The screenprotector com with the phone was on whole phone rather then on screen only i cut it as the size of screen but haven't satisfy.

Guys, I give up trying to look for a screen protector that is proper enough to fit the 7710. I think I will rather wait for screen protectors of the correct dimension to be available.

Today, I got conned with some low grade screen protector that cost like a bomb. The person who help put it on is also a big screw up where she cut the dimensions poorly (using scissors instead of a blade). There are lines on the protector sheet and it makes my phone look like some cheap sh*t. On top of that, there were also air bubbles after a while.

My advice, be really really careful with the protectors your buy guys.

Yah, looks like that one will fit nicely. BTW, where are you ordering it from? Krusell doesn't sell directly to end users. Anyway, keep us updated.

damn, i lost my styli and now i am using ear cleaner stick as my styli.

any suggestions?. i checked local market here and its not available.

also, is screen protector very important ?

i am not using any screen protector with my 7710. one came free but its still in my box.

LOL! You're kidding?! There should be a spare one in the box. Mine came with 2.

I suppose it's subjective. Some ppl never bother, but I will always put one on (if I can find one). Once the screen gets scratched, there's no way to replace it, so I'd rather scratch the protector.

One came free? You mean that piece of plastic that covered the phone's face when you bought it? If you're talking about that, it's no screen protector - it's not meant to function as one. Proper screen protectors are cut to size, difficult to scratch and won't make the display blur.

Anyway, if anyone comes across one (leather casings too), lemme know please.

yeah, second stick came free but i want to save original one so i have built my own stick with tooth cleaner stick and air cleaners stick 😊

any one know how to make screen protector at home. I seen its nothing but a plastic shett with glue on it. what kind of glue they use. i searched marked but i couldn't find any screen protector available! i have to go search in metro markets and i don't have time for that so home made solution will be good.

I made mine myself. Without any fancy round edges, but you could barely tell for a 2 timer person like i am. I never done it before so I tried, cos the screen is just too pretty to mess up. I used some application tape (clear) which is semi tacky and can used with soapy water (very little to get any dirt out of it) and also to move it and push out any bubbles while mounting it on the screen. Works great and cheap too! You can get some of those tape i guess in any stationery store (or vinyl supply stores)

wht i hv done is cut d screen protctr of a palmtop as per d dimensions of d screen of 7710. it hs fit rlly wll & is nt at all shabby lookng.
vry imp 2 hv a steady hnd & being a smokr my hnd is shaky. so my wife stuck d screen protctr on d screen 4 me.
use a credit card 2 squeeze out air bubbles.

I bought "Fellowes WriteRight" screen protector for PalmIII. Fits 7710 nicely.

Hi guys....just want to let u know that I bought my screen protector from www.techoni.com.au.

I bought it from the internet and it cost $13.95 and they charged me for another $5 for the shipping cost but I think it is still a good price and that's very good to prevent my screen to get scracth :tongue:

For cases try ebay, just type nokia 7710 they are about �2. For all new nokia spare parts try www.nokiaspecialists.co.uk. I really do recommend this website they were very helpful and were fast at deliverying my spare part for my old nokia 6600, I ordered it sat came at 7am mon morning.
