i just bought a new nokia 3660 phone and as soon as i switch it on, it asks for memory card password. what am i supposed to enter? i tried 1234, 12345, abc, abcd, abcde, n3660 ... please help! (the person who sold me this doesn't know what to do!)
(in Extras-->Memory the text displayed is: "(memory card locked)" and there are only three options, 1.Unlock memory card 2.Help 3.Exit)

hi people, atleast give me some suggestions what i can try to do, can nokia service center people be of any help? what is the actual procedure of doing it? i bought it from nokia priority dealer and he broke the seal in front of me and when he switched it on, it asked for the password. he pressed cancel. now what was he supposed to enter there? who is supposed to unlock it for the first time? some of you might have bought nokia 3660, how was that configured for the first time? your dealer unlocked the memory card for the first time for you and gave the password or there was no password in the beginning and you had to set it? please help.

If the memory card has been locked on your phone, you can find the password in the text file C\system\mmcStore.
You need the filemanager allowing you to browse the System folder.
If the memory card was locked on another phone, you won't unlock it unless you get the password.

its a new phone and the new memory card that comes with it. no one has set any password for it yet. there is no mmcStore file in C:\system in my phone. how is the card used for the first time? when you buy a new nokia 3660, how do you access the memory card for the first time? there is no password by default and you can access it directly or there will be a default password and you need to enter that default password?
