I've encountered this problem ever since i tried sending sms to multiple recepients. After reading threads from this forum and from other forums, I've noticed that some of you guys are also encountering this problem, but some don't. I pressumed it might be a compatibility problem with 9500 and my network service provider (Globe Telecom as for my case).
What I did was to go to my Text Message Settings and set the delivery report to "No". It has been a week now and I haven't encountered the problem again. I even tried sending a message to 45 recepients at once and it worked perfectly. I hope this can help. 😊
Sending Falied and Out of Memory Issue on 9500 Solved...Maybe
Hi Womb Raider,
I wish I had read your message an hour earlier! I just had my 9500 brought to the service center for a firmware upgrade. I too am a subsriber of Globe Telecom and I have been having that problem since I got my 9500 in November.
I appreciate the post however and will try it out with my friends' phones as they are encountering the same problem

where are you going to upgrade the firmware of your n9500??? i thought nokia philippines has not yet released vesion 4.51..
am from the philippines too.. 😉
what firmware version are you upgrading to? how much does globe charge?
I had it done at the Nokia Service Center along Tomas Morato Ave in Quezon City. They will not charge you if your unit is under warranty. It not, then they will charge you P500.00. I purchased my unit overseas so I had to pay this fee.
I have not had the problem since I had it upgraded to 4.51 but just in case, I will try out Womb Raider's tip.
One more thing... you might want to install Rebooter 1.13. Get it from
http://www.symbiangear.com/product.html?pid=8584,8591,28628
It allows you to reboot your 9500 without having to take out the battery. I've made it a point to reboot every morning.
you reboot every morning?? why's this?
btw, would you know if v4.51 is already compatible with SP2?
Hi all! I observed everyone who replied on this thread are pinoys. 😊
TGKintanar, i too was planning to upgrade my firmware last January but the upgrade was not yet available at that time. I live here in La Union so i seldom go to manila. Was the upgrade worth it? If it is then I'll have mine upgraded the next time I go to Manila. Thanks. 😃
