Got From Net.

his is what I read today on a series 90 forum on www.my-symbian.com: "Series 90 seems to be partially compatible with Series 80 platform. I accidentally inserted my Communicator's MMC card into 7700 and guess what.... many 9210/9500 programs simply work on 7700. Below please see some screenshots of 9210 and 9500 applications running on 7700: Switcher, YFTP, Websters. I'll test some other applications as soon as I have some time. : interesring - isin't it?

Is It True
has some one have tried yet.

I'd have thought it'd be similar as with Series 80. Some Crystal apps work on that. I guess it's all down to the APIs they use and how they interface with the OS. You'd expect a lot of OPL and midP apps to work although whether or not they render correctly on the larger screen is a different issue.

guess what, i ordered nokia software collection cd. i think it should be having series 60 software only because there are no software releasd for 7710. i feel dumb now.

hey, i downloaded golf game from nokia 9300 web site, yes it did installed on 7710 but it wasn't working. I don't play games anyway. 😎
