major network / gprs / modem issues

Hi,

Issues:
1. As mentioned by other ppl in another thread, when I make an outgoing call, and no one picks up, I have to remove the battery to hangup. Very nice to do while driving. (Network is Telfort btw)
2. When my modem app sends a ATZ to the phone 4 out of 5 times it does not understand it and returns an ERROR and modem app stops. If I succeed in getting a CONNECT (gprs using *99#) a disconnect is sent by the ppp stack of the phone during negotiation. At that moment the phone will not dial out , receive incoming calls etc. Reset needed.

Excuse my language, but this sucks! Major :icon13:
I am a business user trying to work using the so called "best business phone". Now as 1 person business spending EUR 450 is no small thing. But this phone is destined for scrapping. Nice write off! I budgetted it on having it paid in 2 years by buying one myself, instead of paying for it 1.6 times in 3 years when bought with a new contract. But after 6 months it still does not deliver for which I bought it. I don't need to listen to mp3. I NEED TO WORK DAMMIT 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡
