C++ Run-time error with PC Suite v6.41

Has anyone else experienced a Microsoft Cisual C++ Run-time Library error during loading of the PC Suite v6.41?

The result of this error is that a connection cannot be established with the 9300.

Details are:

PC Suite 6.41 running on Windows XP SP2

Right at the end of loading the following message is displayed:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Microsoft Visual C++ Run-time Library

Program
C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\PCSuite\Services\Service~1.EXE

R6025
- pure virtual function call
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The prigram that is failing appears to be

ServiceLayer.exe v6.41.20.0 16Nov04 11:55

Once failed the phone will not connect to the PC.

If I check Connection Manager, none of the connection types are selected even though previously Infrar Red and USB (DKU-2) were checked.

If I try and select USB, the Connection Manager just hangs.

Any Help appreciated. Also any suggestion where I formally submit this bug?

Thanks

Huib,

Checking the error code on the Microsoft site points to an implementation error.

However; I have managed to circumvent the problem by disabling Zone Alarm Integrity Client that was running on my machine. By any chance are you running this software as well? Regards.

Nope, no zone alarm.
So for me it is strange that that solved your problem. I is not a real problem of course, because Iwe can restart PC suite.
More irritating is however, that I have to restart the connection manager to "see" the 9500 by bluetooth.
When doing this job it sees the 9500 and I can type ANY pairing code, and it connects.
