According to a Canalys Press Release Symbian devices were the top seller in Europe last quarter accounting for 57% of all shipments. This is of course mainly due to the popularity of the 7650 😊
Symbian back on top in Europe.
Well, those stats are a sight for sore eyes on a Monday morning!
What else can a bloke say? I doubt they'll be raving about this on PocketPCThoughts like they normally do.....
😮 A sign of things to come? 😮
Which proves the point that even if you dominate the PDA market, capture even 1% of the Phone market and you have overtaken the PDA sales by the bucketload. The Nokia 9210 was never a big noise machine, but because it was in the phone market (rather than fighting out with Handspring Palm PocketPC and the ilk) the numbers in circulation are very scary.
Even more so (I suspect) with the 7650.
Just wait till the 3650 figures are inclluded.
