install a software names "AppMan", and use it to kill unneccessary process.
also remember to quit application if you do not use it again

Okay, here is what I found in using 6600.

1. Never use any Themes. for speed wise...
2. Turn the light to the most low! for comsuption power!
3. Make many folders to categorised the image files. Thus when openning it. I can see the items before my phone light off! Most of the time, if you store many image files in one single directory. You have to wait and wait for displaying its' content!

Examples of folders structures

image
my love and friends

love 50 pics

friends 100 pics

scene and cartoon

scene 100 pics

cartoon 150 pics

Try to set max 150 pics in each folder. In my phone, stored 3000 plus photos. but when i do viewing. I can get the picture i want before it light off!

4. Never use any screen saver as I do not want to charge my phone everyday!

5. Of course sometime the phone slow because they are background applcation running. Then always tried to use Menu button, call out the application list. Press "C" button to terminate them.

I hope above can help you! regards

try not to use apps which run in background, and kill any unnecessary background processes;
change the log time to 1 day or none.

The best tip I have found is this.

Open the 'Log'

select OPTIONS>Settings

Change log duration to 1 day.

If you can't live with one day of logs than you have to deal with the slower menus but this tip has helped me enjoy my 6600 more.
