Is there a version of Doom7650/eDoom that works on the 6630?

Everything I've tried quite after the menu screen, and Wildpalm aren't answering my emails.

I'm assuming you've used the mmc patch. And without the sound .sis file installed. you always seem to be a few days ahead of me in things symbian so I assume you're way ahead of me. found this site. I'm sure there's more. will keep looking. a google search site:koti.mobinet.fi **** brings some interesting things back. Just luck but they seem to have a few interesting users.

Yep, since posting that I realised that the RVGPDA release of eDoom that I alrady had for a while does work on the 6630.

Here's what I posted in reply to another topic on here asking for help installing Doom:

fannypad wrote:Don't bother with the long-winded multi sis install. Search around for the RVGPDA version, it's all the .sis files, along with the MMC patch and sound file all in one .sis. The file you want is rvgdoom.zip, rvgdoom.rar or rvgdoom.sis.

And to get sound working, install one of the Wildpalm game demos (for example, Terra Force: http://www.wildpalm.co.uk/TForce7650.html ), they come with the Wildpalm sound server. After installing, you should have a folder called C:\System\libs with a few .dll files called WildSoundApi2.dll etc.

However, while this works for most older phones like the N-Gage, 3650 etc, sound doesn't work on my 6630. Not sure if it works on Symbian 7 devices like your 7610.

As a side note, anyone know anything about using the full level .wad files from Doom/Doom 2 with eDoom? I've found full Doom 1 and 2 .wads that supposedly work on the 9210 version of Doom, but not tried them yet. Although the Series 60 version uses .xwads, so I'm not sure. Anyone experimented?

I have followed the instructions that everyone has suggested to a t. The sound does not work on my 6620. I have even installed the games and verified the sound file is in the correct place.. Still no go...
