I just wanted to check if anyone knows if Route 66 mobile works with the UIQ in these phones... On there site they say that it doesn't work but I have read somewhere on the web that it does...

If it doesn't, would it help to install the series60productID or something... I would like to use my A925 when I drive my car since I do that a lot but havn't found any other good program yet...

Route 66 is not compatible with your phone. Installing series60productID won't change that. I know that for the P800/900 there is Wayfinder, not sure if it works with the A92x as well

Ok, thanks for teh answer, Wayfinder does work but I think it's way to expensive 149 euro for one year, and then you have the cost for downloading maps as well... route 66 mobile just need one big memorycard... I'll wait untill the develop it for the UIQ system...

Good thinking mate...

Well... soon the day will come, maybe... Route 66 have posted on their page that they will release a route 66 software for the UIQ phones, Route mobile UK and the swedish link Route 66 mobile Europe . The strange thing is that the UK release seems to only have UK maps, but at the swedish site its western europe...

And now to the problem, it looks like it will be delivered on a Memory Stick Duo card and not a SD. I have read somewhere on the web that some phones can use both since there apparently isn't ane big difference besides the lenght... anyone know if this is true...
IF it doesn't work, can I clone the software from the memory Stick to a SD card... with a card reader or something...

Sorry, that's not true. You're probably thinking of MMC (Multimedia Card). MMC and SD (besides from looking the same) are of the same length and width, but SD is somewhat thicker, which makes SD capable phones MMC compatible too (but not the other way around).
