Dust gets into the face plate on the phone side

Hi,

I noticed that dust gets into the phone side and wonder anyone of u guys got the same problem.

it is very obvious when it goes to screen saver mode during bright day light.

Yes I agree. It is a flaming nuisance and yet another way in which I am not as happy with the 9500 as my 9210i. I am certainly not selling my 9210i, as I suspect it may outlive my 9500, as far as I am concerned.
The whole black front cover is a perishing nuisance - it shows all the greasy smears especially from holding it to your ear. Black is not the most clever colour, and constantly having to polish it, it is already covered with fine scratches, all of which show up on black.
And removing the cover to remove the dust, seems to make it worse, presumably by creating static.
My old 9210 always looked clean and crisp and still does in matt gunmetal grey!!
Come on Nokia stop designing fashion phones and stick to functional excellence.

Well the Nokia 9500 looks more fashionable than my 9290, but I agree with the mirror finish of the cover, it gets fingerprints all over it. Also I miss the back talk feature it used to make the communicators unique. I wish they would of kept it that way.
