New to the Forums and can't see this topic
How do you sync emails with your PC inbox fine but anything sent from the 9500 does not sync when docked with the PC.
I couldn't get my emails to sync at all. Called Nokia and they told me it doesn't sync emails at all, even though I told them that both pc suite and the phone seem to have the settings for it???
Hi, I have been using 9500 for about a month. Unfortunately, I have been having problems of synchronizing Microsoft Outlook mails with my device. I have used both blutooth & USB cable to sync - same results. I have recently got the firmaware upgraded to 4.50 but no luck. The error mesages are generally
Program Closed: Messaging
Reason Code: KERN-EXEC
Reason no: 3
However, after upgrading to new firmware, I get another error message:
Program Closed: MsvServer
Reason Code: USER
Reason No: 45
On the PC side, I use XP Service pack 2 & Outlook 2003.
With so many knowledgeable users in the forum, I am desperately hoping for a quick solution. Thanks
Sorry, this isn't a solution, but AFAIK PCSuite isn't compatible with SP2 on WinXP... 😞
I run Nokia PC Suite 6.41 (from http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite) on Windows XP SP2 just fine and dandy on my PC. I don't have a 9500, though, but a 6630 and a couple of other Series 60 phones.
is there a a way to 'uninstall' sp2?
let me clarify this, if sp2 isnt installed, then mail sync will be fine?
