Has anybody had trouble deleting SMS messages? I can't for some reason delete an advisory sms regarding voicemail retrieval.

Seems no one has the same problem. To let you all know, I just did a master reset - that solved it.

I have had the same problem deleting system messages from my provider, it's a problem with the s/w, it has trouble deleting messages from the SIM card, all other messages are stored on the phone mem so it has no trouble with these. A SIM swap into another phone will allow you to delete whichever messages are on the SIM as opposed to doing a master reset. 😊
Ta... at least that'll be much easier than trying to sync the address book again.
